The now bankrupt itoys inc. was a revival of the Canadian family-owned toy company Irwin Toy Limited. Legally, it was a new company under a different name and in a different location in Toronto however, it is still known as Irwin Toy in advertising and the like. The company no longer sells the older toys and games which they have been known for. On October 6, 2010, Itoys Inc. had its name legally changed to 2022170 Ontario Inc. Following this, via BDO, on October 19, 2010, 2022170 Ontario Inc sent out its "Notice of Bankruptcy and First Meeting of Creditors" documentation to each of the 117 people and companies named in the documentation. George forms a new company called Itoys USA Inc. Previous company, 2022170 Ontario Inc. transferred all assets and brands to the new ITOYS USA inc.
